Yesterday, I opened up a used RF 87uw55 SE0800 "Stormtrooper" Edition keyboard. I was surprised to find that the color of the domes was the same as that of the 45g domes in a HHKB Pro 2. The label on the back of the case says "Leopold" instead of "Topre". Using the US "Nickel" test, most of the domes in the main typing area collapsed at around 50 to 60g; some of the peripheral domes collapsed at around 45g.
The domes in a RF 87uw55 SE08T0 keyboard are a darker color than the 45g domes in a HHKB. The label on the back of the case says "Topre" instead of "Leopold".
It appears that 55g RF keyboards carrying the Leopold brand did not use the dark gray or black color found in 55g RF keyboards carrying the Topre label.
Has anyone here noticed this color difference in domes from 55g RF keyboards carrying the Leopold label vs the Topre label?

Thanks, zts. Interesting. At first, when I saw the light-ish gray domes in the RF, I thought the former owner might have swapped out the 55g domes with 45g domes, but the Nickel test indicated that at least most of the domes averaged around 55g. Looks like it is a Leopold vs Topre thing.
