Ergodox issue

Hello there,

I just build my first ErgoDox (sourced from Falbatech). After soldering everything and uploading the firmware, everything works fine except column 10 and 11.

Basically when I type "2" it registers "23", and when I type "3" it registers "23".
It is the same for the whole column ("w" and "e" both register "we", and so on).

I guess there must be a short somewhere but I can't find it.
I prefer asking before unsoldering everything...

Here is the backside of the PCB :

It is hard to see, but is SW1:11 OK?
Is a diode leg long enough to touch the plate?
Do also check the thumb cluster - the columns go there too.

When I had a similar issue with my Ergodox I think my fix was to reflow solder on the controller.
It's been over two years since I had the issue, so I don't have the exact details anymore, but that was the fix that worked for me.
Here's what my issue looked like, so it's not exactly the same, but you get the idea.

Thank you!

It was indeed a short on the I/O controller. There was a small spot of solder shorting two legs of the I/O controller.
