Does not exist in that way. Your favorite will be the one you like best.
There are popular ones however.

Aww...jeez here we go. The correct answer is preference which can only come from experience.

Which also happens to be unobtanium.Muirium wrote: Also beamspring.

Glad you had a good experience
Where did you visit?
Also...I wonder if OP is just a spammer...
Surely no-one would be using a Cherry mouse?

I think he just wanted to start a more popular thread than his first & last one:

I never even noticed that one at the time. Anyway, Hydragon, you got what you wanted! Well, so long as it wasn't just a browns vs. blues fight… (Correct answer: reds.)

I remember there was a mouse that implemented a Cherry MX blue switch for a ?side button? a few years back. I think they did it just for the wank factor of being able to say there was a cherry switch in there. How did your mod turn out?

I think you're thinking of the awfully named Leetgion Hellion with the MX blue thumbswitch.
The mod turned out really nice actually, much better than whatever switches were in there by default although quite a bit heavier. I only did it for shits and giggles and could only do left and right click as there wasn't enough room for the bigger switch in the middle click position but I think it's much nicer than the other "stock" WMO I have.
And my band was called Offswitch back in the day, we sucked though so we were almost definitely not the best offswitch of all time

@Seebart: I've got one of those! Exact same switch. It's a nice big 2 pole, 2 position vintage switch with a fancy faceplate. I did plan to use it in my Soarer box…

Black Alps are underrated IMO. You probably like them because they are a bit of a tactile/linear hybrid. They feel a little rough maybe but they're among the most versatile switches I've tried.
My personal favourites atm are capacitive buckling springs and blue Alps. Both absolutely beautiful switches.

You need to try beamspring sometime. I know it's hard to believe, but Model F is a pale imitation of its massive, super costly ancestor. Beamspring is just as clicky, but without ping, and has a swing like Topre. It's pure magic.

Yeah I do hope I run into a beam spring (or Topre xD) one day - but it's not going to be easy to find either xD .
Tbh I know not everyone likes the ping on the F but personally I think it's pretty cool

I love the ping on my XT.

Anyone can "run into" Topre provided you are willing to fork over enough $$$. This is not a bad deal apart from the import part:
