I found one of these in a thrift shop today, but have not bought it yet. It looks like black Alps, but there are no logos on the switches, and the rectangle seems taller than Alps do. Anybody have any clues?

I'm guessing it looks like the keyboard in this album I found: http://imgur.com/a/KMcAN
I think it may just be a rubber dome keyboard. There is another version of the RT101 that looks to have the same kind of slider that are white instead of black, like so:
They appear to be NMB domes with sliders, so it's probably pretty decent.

That should be NMB dome with slider. Not bad, but not mechanical. They tend to be quite well-built by the way, including with metal plates.

Almost positive that it uses NMB dome with sliders. Not bad at all. But it's certainly not mechanical and it's a very common design that was used in many Dell/Compaq/Apple keyboards at the time.
