The guy who bought it had carpal tunnel surgery and needed it temporarily for his job. He was an engineer who disagreed with many of the decisions made by the Datahand design team, so when he sent it in to be repaired for some functionality issues he got in a big discussion with the lead designer. It was hilarious to read; of course the emails were printed off and in the box. Engineers, man.

What was your overall impression of it? I had one once, but seemed like there was quite a learning curve to it. The hardest part for me was the lateral movements of fingers other than the pointer I recall.

Hmmm. I liked the thumb clusters, but the rest of the layout was iffy. There is definitely a learning curve.
I'm also not enthused about the (if Z is gravity referenced up and down) positive Y axis finger petals or the X axis petals. I'd rather just move to a chorded keyboard with Y down, Z down, and perhaps nice thumb clusters given the already troublesome learning curve.
Key rebounds were also a little slow for my tastes -- rapid presses didn't always work well.

I could have scanned them and redacted all of the personal info, but I chose not to. They weren't terribly interesting content wise. They're primarily amusing to me because printing off correspondence and storing it is an engineer-ish thing to do.
