I was reading the wiki entry on the Pioneer MPC-KB2 and it seems that we are not sure of the OEM. However, I also found a Filco with nearly the exact same case design. Did Filco ever have an OEM they bought from, or is it possible that Filco was the OEM for Pioneer? See:

I've also found the Black Falcon labeled with Atessa. So perhaps Atessa could be an OEM?

Hmm that's going to stay a guess unless we get our hands on one for find more pics online. Interesting.

I have the Pioneer coming to me, but it'll probably be a few weeks since it's coming from Japan. Maybe I can do a teardown and find a manufacturer on the PCB.

Ha! Consider it solved! I can confirm that the OEM of these are none other than Strong Man Enterprises! I found a label of both the Filco and the Pioneer, and got KM9 off the FCCID. I'm assuming that the Atessa is a rebrand as well, considering the name and case shape.

Here's another board with the same FCC ID and layout, a Sicon International "SMK-97".

It appears that these might all be Alps, which would interesting to see for Filco since they haven't had any since the XM keyboards (I know these are older though).
