
Teardown - How do Alps SKCL/SKCM switches work?

Nice video! I always assumed the neon green alps were == brown alps, just with lighter weighting and rarer stem color based off the wiki description - do you find that there's a big difference in feel between the two as far as the shape/size of the tactile bump goes?
Also, any reason you consider SKCM damped whites as non-clicky? They definitely click, although it's rather quiet and not particularly great sounding (possibly fixable by opening em up and bending the leaf forward for some increased tactility + clickiness?)

1) They're the same KIND of feel, but they all feel a bit different. Bamboo neons are particularly rounded and stand out the most compared to other tactile Alps switches.cumwagondeluxe wrote: Nice video! 2) They have tactile leaves rather than clicky leaves, so they're definitely tactile. A residual click sound is just a design or execution flaw and not an intended effect. I touched on this in my LCM30 review. Bamboo blacks also have this a bit, it seems to be just sloppiness in the later switch generations.
