Hi guys! Recently bought a 3727 and an xwhatsit converter from orihalcon.
I've thoroughly cleaned the entire board including the pcb and the switches. Plugged in according to the manual but for some reason, column 9 which consists of the keys 5, T, G, B, is detected as permanently clicked no matter what voltage I set.
The only thing I havent tried is to swap the position of the switches but I doubt it'll help. The converter has been fully tested by orihalcon using an oscilloscope according to his post so I suspect it might be a fault with the pcb.
Does anyone know how to go about fixing this issue? Really wanna use this board. Thank you guys!

Beamer switches activate when the flyplate is close to the PCB, right? Perhaos that column of switches is either sitting too low in the plate or the PCB is raised there in some way? Aside from some short on the PCB, I suppose.

Most likely think is that that one column is not connected well and would clean the whole connector on the capsense PCB side with rubbing alcohol and a paper towel or Qtip and rub until you stop getting graphite colored oxidation off of it. The other thing is that there is quite a bit of horizontal play with these 60 pin connectors, so make sure when you push it on that the contacts on the capsense PCB are aligned well with the pins in the connector.
Don't know for sure on the 3727, but you may need to cut groves on either end of the connector to allow the PCB to go in further for best contact. 5251's don't require the modification, but a lot of the others do because the edge doesn't allow the connector to slide all the way on. I can post a picture of what I mean by this if the visual I'm trying to create isn't that helpful

Thanks for the reply! I've actually cut the grooves on the connector already (checked to make sure it hadn't damaged the connector). I'll try out the cleaning methods tonight!
