As you can see this is basically a Nixdorf branded G80-1000. Spanish layout, I assume it's the normal Spanish layout? My fellow Spanish DT members correct me if I'm wrong!

Notice how there are more small numbers printed next to and under the model and serial numbers on the left of the label barely visible.

We have also seen these with the turquoise Siemens Nixdorf branding in this Cherry G80 1129:

Biggest difference being the grey color as you can see in this side by side picture (shot without flash) with my G80-1000 HAD.This also illustrates how much my camera flash changes the colors in my other pictures.

According to the timestamp this one dates 05/89. There is a smudged marking in the case also that looks like 09.Mai 1989.

I can't find out anything about the terminal /computer this shipped with, I can tell you this has nothing to do with the CT11 which I looked at about a year ago. There are the usual Cherry stickers on the PCB but I can't find out anything much about this keyboard. If any of you know anything more please let me know.

The doubleshots are regular Cherry just grey and a bit darker than regular ones:

I'm not a huge Cherry fan but one thing I really have to mention at this point is the durability of these keyboards but even more so of MX blacks. From what I can tell this keyboard has seen a lot of usage and the amount of filth that I removed from inside was staggering in a bad way. Any Alps SKCM based keyboard would have been garbage in that state, yet this works 100% fine after cleaning and even still looks pretty good. Best of all the MX blacks feel just fine the way they are supposed to, pretty impressive.

I didn't look like that when I got it, I'm still not sure how any PCB could be so filthy. The seller must have cleaned the keyboard.

Filth is not very important, it's more of the "I don't want to know from what this filth come from" type of filth that I'm afraid, I have a Daewoo with [wiki]Futaba_MA_series[/wiki], a really nice board that I have yet to convert. But damn some of the things I have seen on it's plate doesn't make me want to clean it nor touch it...

Yeah I think I saw that. I'm really not bothered by the filth it's just a that a PCB is more difficult to clean than a case.

You are NOT wrong. This is the "Spanish (Spain)" layout; the other main Spanish laoyut is the "Spanish (Latin American)" [or simply "Latin American"], with can be easily distinguished by the absence of the Ç character two keys to the right of the Ñ key. There are other layouts for the Spanish language, but they are quite rare and unimportant (except the Latin American Extended one, of course).

It should be noted that this particular keeb is relatively old, pre-introduction of the euro, so it doesn't have it printed in either/both keycaps E and 5 as an AltGr assignment.
