Do you like MX Blue? Are the clones better? Do you like it less or more than Buckling spring?

MX Blue was one of the first switches I started with. I like it, but the clicks aren't appropriate for (most) office settings and I don't like using them at home either since they can be annoying to game with.

To be honest, I don't really feel much of a difference between Cherry and Clone blue switches. Some of them are slightly scratchier or smoother, some last shorter or longer, but they are (almost) all the mostly the same. There are a few exceptions such as Outemu, where the board I had with Outemu was terrible. They would constantly get stuck and would require manually pulling the key back up.

As for IBM, I like them, but again they are not useful for my situation. If you like heavy switches they are nice, but they can be too heavy for some. Same for heavier Cherry switches like Greens.

My favorite clicky switches are Alps SKCM Blue, but they are hard to find and typically expensive.

Hard to say. I like NEC Cream Ovals and Alps SKCL Green, but there are many other nice switches out there too.

If you had two choices - MX Blue/green or IBM bucking spring, which one would you get?

For modern compatibility, cost, etc. I'd probably get MX Greens.
