Concern - Damaging switches w/ Ultrasonic cleaner

I recently purchased this Ultrasonic cleaner off Ebay and realized that the basket was stainless steel. I know this is the preferred material for a basket, but I was concerned that these may damage switch stems/sliders (like an Alps slider) because I imagine the cleaning would cause the plastic sliders to rub violently against the metal basket.

Can anyone with experience using one of these confirm or deny these concerns?

I have this exact same ultrasonic cleaner and cleaned Alps with it without any problems, they don't shake like crazy in there, they're just trembling (?) from ultrasonic pulses, it's really not violent, I can show a video tomorrow if you're still not convinced

So you throw the sliders in there without any protection and it worked out fine?

The one you bought and many use here on DT, are NOT industrial strength Cleaners.

We have a 460 Liter Industrial Tub that can literally peal your skin off, if you decide to leave it immersed within the bath for more than 4 minutes. I use it sometimes, to peel off old dead skin, from my feet after working here for a few months (very effective and quick).

Our industrial Ultra Sonic Cleaner is for Diesel engines, bearings and gears, so it can clean the most abysmal conditioned metal pieces covered in grease and gunk, back to a new like finish.

Thank you so much for this information! I lol'd a bit after you told me you dunk your feet in it. I think that sounds more effective than a pumice stone.

you can also get little plastic baskets if you are worried about metal on metal.

well I put them in a bag in which I cut small holes with a screwdriver and then put them in the little gasket that comes with the ultrasonic cleaner (because yeah you have to use it)
