All the demonstrations really made this video. Just something about listening to someone type on really good switches of different kinds with a little intro is just perfect. Makes me wish for a "best sounding 100 stock boards" video along the lines of your super giant typing one you did awhile back.

Since I can’t handle clicking and clacking for longer than a couple of seconds without going a little insane, I could never use any of those switches/boards. For me the #1 best sounding (and feeling) switch is a factory-silenced Topre switch. It has a deeply satisfying, soft thock upon bottoming out, without the irritating upstroke clack of nearly every other switch ever made. It is so far ahead of any other switch for me that I hesitate to even name a runner up. Maybe if someone comes up with a factory-dampened, factory-lubed version of the Kailh Speed Copper, that might earn the #2 spot.

I agree. HHKB Type-S is hard to beat IMO.

Now I've seen everything - A Cherry Foam & Foil - Go figure  .

I knew you were going all Blue Alps because you kind of let it out with every other review, about your predilection for them.
