This may seem like a stupid question; apologies in advance if that's the case.
We have recently bought an iPad. I don't like typing on a screen (of course), so I'm considering the options besides buying a bluetooth keyboard (which I'd like, but ideally I would prefer to wait a bit).
I remember reading about the camera adapter for the iPad, but that would not work for me, since I'd like to use one of my HHKBs with the iPad, and apparently the USB hub makes the keyboard draw too much power.
As the title suggests, I am wondering if a (battery powered) Bluetooth device exists which I can connect the HHKB to, which I could use to connect the keyboard to the iPad?
Any other suggestions?
Another idea: Would it be possible to somehow modify the circuit of the HHBK to disable to USB hub such that it would be possible to use it with the Apple camera adapter? Would installing Hasu's USB controller be a solution?
Does a (powered) device which can send USB input via Bluetooth exist?

I'm looking for something similar to this: https://www.massdrop.com/buy/bluetooth-keyboard-adapter
It seems like the latest version supports the HHKB: http://handheldsci.com/kb
Unfortunately it's not in stock at the moment.

Says it will be in stock in a week on Handheld Scientific's website. I have one and they actually work with any Xwhatsit including Beamsprings, Model F's etc. Battery in them isn't that big though for the heavier power draw items, so have been planning on starting a thread on how to have an external/different charger to use and then some sort of automatic switch over when you plug in the USB cable to go between being wired keyboard use and charging to bluetooth when unplugged from the USB cable. Definitely a fun toy.

Thanks for that. I might just wait and see if it becomes available again soon.
In the meantime I might persuade myself into buying another HHKB...
