I have to press really far down when I use my 'T' key any help please?

It could be that the internal leaves were bent during assembly and it did not show any problems until now or that there is a faulty solder joint, such as a "cold soldering" that will short only when you press hard.
Or maybe you spilled some liquid that has got into the switch and made it sticky...

If you didn't spill on i and it is under warranty, return it for a replacement.
If you have a soldering iron, I would suggest opening it up and try to reflow the solder joint, maybe with some additional solder. Then plug it in again and see if that fixes the issue.
If you did spill on it or if reflowing the solder joint didn't work, I think you would to replace the switch.

If its under warranty send it back

i would not bother trying to resolder anything , the switch may be bad. Order a replacement switch, de solder the faulty switch and put a new one in.

If you cannot get hold of that exact switch just order any MX switch you like and move a switch from a uncommon key that's not on the main block (Esc for example) and use the odd MX switch on the new space.

Possibly a miss aligned switch housing or spring and its pooped back in?
