Looking for a new keyboard with the following specs:
-
- Location: Montreal
- Main keyboard: Corsair Strafe RGB
- Main mouse: Logitech G300s
- Favorite switch: Cherry MX Red

Can you guys please recommend me a keyboard. I'd like something straight out of the box with maybe buying different keycaps in the future. I'd like something with PBT, tactile feedback ~$150 and TKL. I'd also like LED lighting. Greatly appreciate your feedback.

If you can live with a numpad, here’s a Topre Realforce RGB for a nice price:

Topre is so much nicer than Cherry MX. Easily the best of all tactile switches out there today.
Oh… Canada? Ah, well, hmm. Can’t say I’ve a clue who sells what there for the right money. I’d still advise Topre over MX brown (blech). Just don’t know anyone selling.

WASD Code TKL with Clears? Doesn't have PBT caps though. Also, do you care about ANSI vs ISO?

Snacks has a rescued Code for sale, but it’s fullsize and in the US:

Take a look at his pics (behind the spoiler button) to get a sense of what WASD keyboards are like. In a word: “okay”. Certainly don’t pay top dollar for one. There’s so much better stuff out there.
The tricky part is you want led backlighting and PBT caps. As far as I know, those never come together. (Besides the lonely Caps Lock key on my Realforce!) It’s much wiser to choose one and go for it. The correct one being PBT caps and no backlight. That’s where all the best boards are.

Not encouraging specifically MD products, just that this one seems like a cheap solution for the OP.
