5 pin DIN to PS/2 not working?

Hi, recently I got 5 pin DIN to PS/2 adapter for my keyboard. When I plugged it in, the numlock light is on, my device manager recognizes a "Standard PS/2 Keyboard" (which I tried to update but it said I was up to date) but the board is not listed under "keyboards" in windows 10's settings, and it is totally unresponsive when typed on.

I've tried changing the thing in regedit from "3" to "1" and that didn't work. My BIOS has something called "Legacy USB" which I switched on and off and still nothing. I've uninstalled the device driver and that didn't work. Furthermore, my keyboard has this thing in the back labeled "AT ONLY" with 2 little switches in there. https://imgur.com/a/HAtmDOa I've switched those around and gotten no where. Also, I am restarting with the ps/2 plugged in and my natively ps/2 board works on my computer.

Anyone got some advice? I'd like to use this board

Which keyboard is it that is not working? Have you tried a USB to PS/2 converter? Maybe your PS/2 port cannot deliver enough power, I had that problem with my IBM AT Model F. The lock lights were working, but nothing else.

Ahh that sounds like it could be it. So should I buy an active PS/2 to USB converter? Any recommendations?
As far as I'm aware, it's a "Sejin Electron EAT-1010" board with Sysdyne branding. Has futaba clicky switches.

I personally use a so-called Blue Cube PS/2 to USB converter, which supposedly works for the majority of PS/2 and AT keyboards out there. Just search for that and you should find one that is shaped kinda like a cube and is dark blue.

Afaik there is no certain brand attached to that kind of converter.

I haven't seen a blue cube for cheap in a long time, at that price you could even get a prebuilt soarer converter from orihalcon.

Oh, sorry, I didn't look at the price, I was just searching for a picture of the converter. 45$ is obviously way too expensive.

This is the active converter I use which also works with my at101 as long as it is directly plugged into a USB port and not into a USB hub.

So I connected it with the ps/2 to usb converter that I got with my at101w and it isn't working. It works with the at101w though. It's a converter like the one you listed, snot. Any ideas??

Sorry I don't really understand what you mean. Is the at101w working with the converter I linked you or not?
