Hello keyboard experts,
Newbie here. My sgi granite keyboard is missing a num-lock keycap. Any advice on where I can get a replacement?
Thank you,

Perhaps you could ask Tai-Hao if they would be willing to shoot you a replacement cap. It may be expensive though and I don't know if they would even agree, but hey are the only ones left with OEM profile Alps tooling.

I'd just use a cap from a common dell at101. It should also be possible to use resin casting to duplicate the keycap next to it. There's lots of youtube videos covering the process.
I searched ebay, did you mean the exact at101, or at101w, at101r etc will do as well? thanks

the at101, at101w or at102. not the at101r, that's a rubber dome. I just suggested it because they use alps switches and are gray coloured. I have no idea if the keycap profile matches. sometimes you will see sellers of individual keycaps.zzephr wrote: 26 Oct 2019, 21:24 I searched ebay, did you mean the exact at101, or at101w, at101r etc will do as well? thanks

Looks like it's just yellowed. You can soak it in hydrogen peroxide for a week and it should be back to a normalish color.
