I've too much on myself but thought this may be a tempting teensy mod for someone.

Damn. I like the look of that. I didn't realise that such a thing existed. I recently bought a couple of old Acorn Electrons off Ebay. My intention is to use one of them to house a Raspberry Pi. However, that Viglen keyboard would be even better.

I might have a punt if it doesn't go too high.

Go for it grasshopper, I've salvaged some broken BBC boards and some have linear mechanical switches. Your project sounds very interesting by the way :)

There are more of them out there, they sometimes find their way to ebay.co.uk ..
I've even seen a few unused drop-in replacement-assemblies there .

The complete separate keyboard is the most rare of them though, there are many complete computers for sale.

Around £50 with postage. Hope it was someone here who got it :)

Went too high for me. With a bit of patience you could get a working BBC Micro for that sort of money.

Or a Texas instrument with the smallest vintage alps board you'll find
