So what the f were they thinking placing the arrows there instead of just one key to the left?
aaaand would it be correct to say that a spelling change is in order for KBT? i.e. KBt, or KBtK even...
and what the heck is that blob in between the 'B' and 't' supposed to resemble?
I certainly see your point to having the arrow keys under the dominant fingers in home position, but I also see their point of having the hand in a more natural position while both holding down FN and using the arrows. As with anything, it's something to get used to, and then it won't bother you. This is WAY better than HHKB's idiotic solution! ;-P
The one gripe I have about the Pure is that `~ is way over to the right, rather than next to the 1 key. I would love to reprogram my ESC to be my ~, and maybe make FN-~ be ESC, or just add an external switch above ~ to serve as a detachable ESC. Yeah, laugh it up.
Since I have NEVER seen KBStalking print their name in ASCII, but ALWAYS with the (blob) Squirrel, I think they are laughing every time someone writes KBTalking. It's KBStalking, as in KeyBoardStalking, which is what we do on the 'netz, right? ;-P
I thought the acorn key looked like a pacifier, but a pacifier is just a boob substitute... whatever floats your boat. Personally, I like it. Aside from the ESC/~ problem, this is now my favorite keyboard. I'm even learning to like the Cloud Of Boobs as much as the Blues. I'm still faster on Blues though. There is just something reassuring about the clickity clack of a good mechanical switch activating.
