Hey all,
I have a white tkl filco (brown switch) that's about 3 days old. I noticed that my pinky would get sore at the end of my work shift. The left shift key is noticeably harder to press than all my other keys. I pulled the cap and replaced it with one from my quickfire rapid and it felt a little better. Would a cap cause a switch to be stiffer than the rest? When I mean stiffer it feels like I'm using a cherry black or blue switch.
Things I've tried:
1. Changed the keycap - not sure if this is placebo, but it does feel better.
2. Lubed the stabilizer - got rid of the infamous costar rattle, but did nothing for the stiffness.
Should I just stop being a wuss and let my pinky finger get acclimated to the stiffness? Or is there something else should I try?
Oh and my quickfire rapid (blue switch) and black filco (brown switch) do not have this problem.
Thanks for looking!
Left shift key on Filco is stiffer than the rest.

Thank you xbb, yes, I did. After mucking with it some more, it feels like the mushiness is exaggerated when i hit the key more towards the right. I guess I just need to learn to hit it dead on center. Thanks for the reply!
