Hey,
I got my hands on those, does anyone know what these keyboards (if anything) are worth?
- A transtec keyboard
- A IBM rubberdome keyboard
- A brandnew Model M (with the original packaging) - sorry for the blurry pic
Theres also an old Acer with ALPS switches which I didn't take a photo of.

The transtec looks to be a rebranded Wyse keyboard.

Yes.
WYSE ~~ 40-60€
Model M ~~ 60-80. If you have the original box, return it into the box and dont take it out again, makes it worth more
NIB should net you 80-100 on ebay.

dont know that particular ibm model but i used an ibm rubberdome 9930 (even stockpiled them for replacement purposes) for like 10 years and still like it better than half of the mech switches i tried ever since, so i think it's actually a high quality rubberdome kb.

Dunno, could be some nice doubleshot caps? :)Acanthophis wrote:Why bother, those are ISO anyway :D7bit wrote:I can see there some G80/G81-3000 ...
Just to be sure, an Acer with Acer switches, or an Acer with actual Alps switches? If it's genuine Alps CM switches, I could be interested, but I suspect it's Acer switches.ne0phyte wrote:Theres also an old Acer with ALPS switches which I didn't take a photo of.

I removed a few keycaps and it said "ALPS" on the switches. I can take some photos tomorrow.
Oh and yes, there are many (like 8 or so) double shot keyboards.
I took some and put them on my Noppoo Choc Mini :P

I'm not trolling.
I truly don't need ISO as I am an ANSI guy.

So you saw some blurry parts of other keyboards in the background (which were never mentioned in the OP) and you assumed that I was trying to sell you keycaps.(?) You posted that they are worthless since they are ISO just to be on the safe side. Then in another post you basically said again that they are worthless because you don't need them.Acanthophis wrote:I'm not trolling.

Tell me what exactly you are trying to express or I have to agree with Daniel Beardsmore that you are just a mediocre troll

lol, this is getting ridiculous.
I always joke about ISO a little, because I use ANSI. For a German, this is kinda rare. Do you want me to post all my Anti-ISO propaganda posts over the last year?
I never assumed anything. I also didn't say they are worthless. Just because I don't need them or don't feel obliged to have them (although I have some German ISO Cherry 2shot sets here
). I'm not sure how someone can misread/misunderstand my posts.
Does 7bit also assume you are trying to sell those keycaps? I miss a post from you guys about his trolling...
Oh, and btw, trolling is a art. I would never try such a ridiculous, unartistic, unneeded troll attempt. For that, I respect the game to much.

Okay, okay. Sorry but your posts didn't contribute to the thread at all..
Soo... Any idea what ISO double-shot ABS caps are worth? And what is a complete set of ANSI Cherry DS caps with white/beige keys and gray modifier keys worth?

All depends on its condition.
With brandnew ANSI 2shots from Cherry you can expect around 100€.
And ISO depends on their layout. German Cherry 2shots are quite numerous and not hard to get. I don't know prices. I sold a few for €20, but I think I could've get more, but...meh, whatever.

german ISO doubleshots between EUR 10-20, I would say.
re ANSI set, what you mean with gray modifiers? If you have a set with 1.25 modifiers from Cherry, this could be quite expensive, as they are much more rare than the standard 1.5 modifiers. (at least i have never seen some

Some are a little bit worn out, but the shine on the spacebar is from the lamp.
Uhm hard to say. They all still have a texture so they aren't really shiny (they feel a little bit glossy).
Very few keys have some tiny scratches and the spacebar has a big scratch :-/
No idea if/what they are worth but if it's not much I would rather sand them a bit and use them myself :p
