I'm having problems with my SSK here at work. The problems appear both when it's connected to a PS/2 port or to the USB through the Blue Cube. Whenever I have to restart the computer, I have to unplug the keyboard and plug it back in. If I don't do that, the board is not working! Signs of a bad motherboard or something completely different?
Ideas?

That's the same problem I had when using a Topre keyboard on my iMac via USB. Whenever it went into sleep mode and got out, I had to reconnect the board.Half-Saint wrote:I'm having problems with my SSK here at work. i've got the same problem with my ssk sometimes on my powerbook with the bluecube.
It didn't have this problem for some weeks by now.
But sometime i have en auto repeat (the key continue to register).
Maybe it's the blue cube. I'll try to test with another one.

- keyboard works in BIOS
- boot from ultimateCD, keyboard stops working...

I have the same problem with my bluecube and the SSK.
ThinkPad + DockingStation + BlueCube + Ubuntu
I thought it was because of the dockingstation or something like that. But if you have the same problem, it seems to be there is a problem with the bluecube in combination with the ssk.

I had this same issue with an '86 Model M on a Core2Duo computer. Computer demanded restart before the keyboard would work.
