. I pointed out that I preferred the smooth feel of the Gateron Brown's, but that they felt too light, which caused me to bottom out all the time. RocketmanZero suggested that I try putting MX Clear springs into the Gateron Browns. I did roughly that: I bought a 120 pack of 60g Cherry MX spring and replaced all the Gateron Brown springs with them (except for the keys in the thumb cluster: I hit the keys with the side of my thumb very un-ergonomically, so I prefer a lighter spring). The result is fantastic. The smoothness of Gateron, with the stiffness of an MX Clear. I can only recommend this combination. Gateron Heavy Brown FTW. Just saying.
