GMK / Cherry color code question

Recently I looked at all my GMK / Cherry keycaps - well I think only three in total - and saw that the caps from my Meto keyboard are not the same beige color like the other caps. I always thought that the beige color is the same, and only recognized now when seeing the caps side by side.

Which color code are the alpha caps of the Meto keyboard? 2M? And all the 'normal' beige sets are always L2? Or are these caps made from Cherry, and the GMK color codes does not apply in this case? Our Wiki article is rather... hey, I could edit it when I have all information I need!

The cap on the top is from the Meto keyboard:

There is yet another beige-ish GMK color called T9 that's the one used on the 60th anniversary keyboards and also the just ran GMK Monkey GB. Maybe that could be the color of your meto?

Thanks for that hint, I just looked at some 60th anniversary keyboard pictures, but it is hard to see without comparison. I am not participating in the GMK Monkey 2016 group buy by the way, but it could be nice to be mixed with Skidata caps maybe.

Yeah, METO has a slightly different colour scheme I believe. I don't necessarily think that there will be a corresponding GMK colour code.

I read that "UN0001 (or white) is T9", which seems to be new from GMK.

Ok, so it's not an additional color after all, nor is it the color of you meto's caps.

although GMK ony works with that few colors, Cherry Corp. palette was way more vast (in term of beige variations) that why you see so many different OG beiges out there:

I'm pretty sure GMK beige is done with U9/L9 (btw, I find this pic more accurate)

Wow, that's a lot of beige! To me it seems like GMK did a wise selection of colours.

I think GMK did a good colors choice, but however it's still very limited... custom colors orders shouldn't be needed (like it was in TA set) if they would have a few more options (shades of vivid colors like purple, blue, green, orange, red) like SP have.

It's the G80-3060's (60th keyboard) keyboard.
