Hello!
I bought a Cherry g80-11900 advertised as parts only. The keyboard is in a great condition, but some genius cut off the cable. According to the full product name "G80-11900LTMDE-0" it had the double ps/2 cable. Do you have any ideas where can I find a replacement cable? Or is it possible to convert it to USB?
Thanks!

Have you opened it ? If so you can probably see that there is a pin connector (?) and if there is indeed one you can probably figure out the pinouts and convert it to USB or make two different ps/2 cables. I don't have a "quick" solution a part from finding a split cable

Thanks for the reply! Yes I opened it up. I found this: https://item.taobao.com/item.htm?spm=a2 ... t=5#detail
If I understand this correctly, there is a version of this cable sutiable for split ps/2 boards as well and have a converter to use them with a single usb.

Oh wow if this sounds as interesting as you understood it, I'd be interested myself !
This looks like you made it sound, so indeed you would probably need this to make it function
Have you ever ordered from taobao ?

No I have not ordered from Taobao yet, I just registered and made my first purchase, All we have to do is to wait for this thing to arrive. It is very cheap I can say that, not even 6 euros with shipping included. I'd definitely update on this thread, once I got this thing.

Okay thanks for the advice!
I do not know if there will be a next purchase at all, but if it will happen I'll definitely use a proxy, I was so excited I forgot about anything else.

I'm constantly using Ebay and Aliexpress to buy cheap things, but taobao has an extreme amount of things, I've known it for a few years but I've only browsed it I have not ordered anything until this day. I'm really excited.
