Hi, I was contemplating getting a Cooler Master CM Storm QuickFire Rapid but was unsure how well the LEDs shine through custom caps. Specifically, I have a dark gray cap set and was wondering if anyone had any issues seeing the LEDs on the caps lock and scroll lock, say during the day, on a darker keycap without a window.
Thanks.

I use custom caps and the light does not go through the caps.
But I doo however see the plate shine up under the caps. So if you look at the cap you will see the light. Its easy at night but might be harder during the day.
However it has not been bothering me at all.

You can't see the light from under my blue SP PBT keycaps, though it's easy to see it reflecting off the plate if you look.
It's pretty easy to see from under my white SP PBT keycaps, though. I imagine the same holds true for white ABS.
The RED LED's aren't the brightest things in the world (Which is a bonus), and I've no trouble with looking at the reflected light of them when I need to check if capslock, etc is on.
I can't see it through my SP WYSE moogle capslock key, which is darkgrey, but if I look between capslock and shift, I see some red right coming through there, so it's really easy for me to see anyway.
I hope this helps: I can take pictures if you want, too (but after work).
