I'm doing a group buy for a kit for the MeC64 Commodore 64 mechanical replacement keyboard.
For more information read this thread: http://deskthority.net/workshop-f7/mec6 ... t4522.html
The base kit is 132.5 € (Parts for the MeC64 keyboard with USB excluding shipping, switches.)
Options:
* Joystick cable (you can connect two, there is currently no easy way to mount it to the C64 case): 4€ each
* Adapter kit to be able to swap between USB controller and C64 motherboard: 11€ (only three available)
If you buy a kit and add 35 € for switches (from 7bit) I'll solder it for free if you like.
This group buy is limited to five kits as I have five PCBs and can't get more at this price.
The following members have ordered:

Be aware that the adapter makes the already tall key cup even taller. You can see C64 caps beside regular in this picture http://deskthority.net/resources/test-o ... rters/5953Ascaii wrote:I would like one set of cap adapters.
edit: might take two, depends on when you will collect cash.

Sorry to do this but I am no longer able to take one. I am too busy and don't want to end up with another project that gathers dust indefineatly.

Here is a picture of the adapter cable.
It has the same form factor as the controller PCB so the you can put headers on them and be able to swap back and forth without soldering. If you are just going to use it as a USB keyboard you can just solder the controller board to the back of the keyboard PCB. If your going to just use it with a C64 main board you can just solder a ribbon cable to the back of the keyboard PCB.

I like to get this thing rolling now. How does confirming your orders and send out invoices the coming days sound? I thought January 31 as the last to pay would be good. Then I can ordering the parts as soon as I get the payments in.
And there is still one kit left

I'm sorry but my financial situation isn't the best at the moment. Had lots of business related expenses in the last two months and this will have to wait. Hope you understand.
Cheers
