HI EVERYONE! Me & my rare 4p4c terminal keyboard

Hello, I am a new member (from Spain, so sorry for my poor english).
I have several old mechanical keyboards and I love them (IMB M, Olivetti ANK, Dell, etc...) and... a FUJITSU terminal keyboard (¿4p4c?, I do nor know the model). I would like to make it possible to work with my modern computer (windows xp or 7, or mac). I have been reading from Teensy & Soarer's firmware... Does anybody knows if I need to buy this Teensy & install (I do not know how) this firmware. I upload some pics from the FUJITSU KEYBOARD.

The layout is the same as for DEC terminals which were very popular at the time.

That looks like a Wyse terminal keyboard. It could be compatible with their General Purpose Terminals, but I don't know. I think there could be different other keyboards with the same layout but different protocol.

*If* it speaks Wyse protocol, then you can definitely convert that to USB:

and HOW TO install Soarer's firmware in windows... to control my spanish keyboard

Use a simple Teensy 2.0 it will be quite enough for a converter. You only need 4 pins. The Teensy++ is for when you need loads more than that.

Then read this. Specifically Soarer's documentation for his converter, which you'll find in one of the zip files.

Cool. If you need questions answered, just pop them in this thread. Soarer's been gone a while.

I advise reading up on the tools (scas, scwr, etc.) before your Teensy arrives. Even if you don't intend to use them, they are the key to making the most out of Soarer's converter. They'll come in useful sooner or later.
