Ok… They responded and said they will be formulating an action plan and moving on it immediately. Fingers crossed! I just want to be able to enjoy keyboards with y’all.

Re: Future of DT
i’ll just keep emailing all the spam posts to info@onecommerce.group I don't know if that will accomplish anything. Generic e-mail addresses are usually directed to /dev/null on most domains, for the obvious reason. That’s the one they have for their “contact us”. deals@onecommerce.group is the one...

Re: Future of DT
I mean, I'm a forum moderator. I have higher powers than anyone else. I can delete posts, edit other user's posts, even change who posted a post. I could do a lot of nefarious stuff if I wanted but no one's ever talked to me since the ownership change. Since you don't have time AND you have this po...

Switch Repair - Gonzo Method
I've not seen this method described before and feel like I've just happened upon it, but if it's old news, please kindly point me toward the original. I like to buy cheap, so I tend to end up with things that aren't exactly in NIB condition- mainly sold as not working because the boards seem to have...

Re: Does this dampen my keyboard?
Thanks! Seriously my bad and I’m sorry if I made you feel unwelcome. Edit: i am new to keyboards as i said in my original post, so what the hell is vintage? Just saw your edit. “Vintage” here is stuff like IBM, Alps, Fujitsu, Stackpole, microswitch, mitsumi, etc. Old keyboards from back in the day t...

Re: Does this dampen my keyboard?
Thru the inter-web! And also i just wanted to build a custom keeb! Cool! There are enough people here who do MX stuff that we should be able to help you out. There's also a discord if you're into that sort of thing. There have been some interesting/cheap innovations lately including covering the ba...

Re: Does this dampen my keyboard?
Account just created, account name follows the TwoWord structure of capitalization and length, no vintage tech in bio, post not about vintage, post contains the word "keeb", post reads like something you'd see on r/mk, and if I were willing to use google instead of duck duck go I'm sure as can be th...

Re: Easiest solution for model M
Most people say RJ-45 when referring to these connectors, converters, and keyboards. That cable is a nice find! The Soarer's you found ought to work, but be aware the software is abandonware. Many in the community love it anyway. If you would prefer to use converter software that's under active deve...

[WTT] [H] NIB Silver Badge Model M 1390131 [W] IBM/Alps/Surprise Me
I have this NIB Silver Badge and was thinking of keeping it, but as I've already gotten to experience the delightful New IBM smell from a NIB M122 I thought I might make the opportunity available to someone else in the community. Didn't hear any rivet rattle when taking the pics and didn't see any r...

Re: Easiest solution for model M
What's the model number on your case bottom? I was trying to look up which cable (5-pin DIN or PS/2) your keyboard originally came with but the number on your plate sticker isn't in the DB.

Re: Easiest solution for model M
Nice backplate- shit converter. Those Dupont connectors aren't great for permanent installations, especially if cheap ones are used because they lose their grip. If it were ME (because I like keeping keyboards as original as possible) - I would order a replacement fixed cable from Unicomp and make a...

Re: Northgate OmniKey 101 review (Alps SKCM White)
I ended up with whites in an AEK and something about the heavy plate and PCB combined with the thick and roomy case made it rather enjoyable! The salmons it came with were rusted through.
