The bottom one with no windows keys looks like an Acer switch board (6311 maybe?). The other two look like rubber dome or slider over dome.

Thanks Harsh! At $27 shipped I'll consider that Acer board, yet to try any switches they made.

Middle one seems to be a KPQ-E99ZC-12 — nothing terribly exciting. The other two, I couldn't say, but they look suspiciously like rubber domes.

Whatever it is, it seems there's a good chance it's something mechanical - I can see green peeking out from the gap to the right of the Enter and Backspace keys - looks like PCB mounted switches. My completely random guess would be Cherry MX

I had hoped for a Cherry OEM, too, but of course, there are too many differences in little details. Turns out it's a Printec DS - spill resistant etc.

1) Keyboard is old symbolics, but switches aren't micro switch SD, are they?

Those do not look like Micro Switch SW Series to me. On the symbolics I cannot tell by that picture.

Ahh that's a different keyboard with the same color scheme, you're obviously trying to confuse me slom! Yes that second one looks very much like Micro Switch SW but I don't see a slider? Both are well overpriced BTW!

I also fully agree on them being overpriced.

For the symbolics one, have a look at the shape of the light gray switch. There are some diagonally opposing protrusions that don't look like SD switches. Looks more like these: wiki/Micro_Switch_SC_Series, but the slider mount looks like it is compatible with the hall effect caps.

That's right. These are people that call any old keyboard "clicky".

Siemens boards with STB switches usually have doubleshot caps, not lasered ones. Like this one,


There have been exceptions to that rule, but chances are low for this style of board.
