I like the look of the 104UG HiPro case with the black indicator LED area, and the 45g uniform weighting but not the keycaps, would I be able to swap them with the keycaps on a standard Realforce 104? I've never seen anyone talk about this at all.

Yes, this has come up before.

It comes down to this:
1. The HiPro keys have extra tall key switch bodies that you'll need to swap out.
2. LCtrl is different on HiPro and a regular Realforce, meaning you'll either need to modify your plate or create a modified key cap. I prefer modifying the plate.

Good luck!

I thought the different Ctrl key only applied to the 87U because of the LED. What's the difference with the 104U's Ctrl? And how does one go about swapping out the "extra tall key switch bodies"?
