I recently bought this keyboard and was wondering what switch it has.
It looks mechanical but I don't know if it is linear or tactile or clicky.

Pooh, I know this one!

Will let a Geekhacker take the lead. Linear or tactile though. NOT clicky.

Key Tronic foam-and-foil. Mostly linear, but with a mushy landing. Actuation point in the middle of the stroke. Capacitative sensing, so it probably has N-key rollover.

There is a Key Tronic page in the wiki where you can see an older type of switch module. The key mount looks the same, though.

It's not worth $150 unless you're a KT collector.

only paid $5 for it. my other BTC foam n foil is tactile so getting the linear variant is nice. $5 is Worth it for XT layout. I need this for my second XT compatible computer I bought.

This is the buckling rubber sleeve version.

Somebody should port the Ripster Vintage Switch Wiki over here or into some new GH/DT Combined Wiki. Damn, I have a LOT of pics.....

If it had triple-shot (or quadruple shot) keycaps instead of an IBM F-XT wannabe layout, it might be worth something.

Recycledgoods seems to have higher prices on most of their keyboards. Their pictures are pretty decent, though.

Good thing you can make an offer.

BTC Foam n' foil. Tons of OEM 'boards with that switch.
They're ok with some new foam and foil
