The Robotron 1715(M) was a line of 8-bit personal computers produced by VEB Kombinat Robotron in East Germany and exported to many countries in the Eastern Bloc. These computers were based on a clone of the common Zilog Z80 CPU and ran SCP, a clone of CP/M.

Incidentally, the 1715 was part of the computer systems in charge of monitoring the Chernobyl NPP in Ukraine prior to the infamous disaster in April 26, 1986. Samples have been found within the exclusion zone in Pripyat.[2]

The keyboard uses a non-standard layout and reportedly suffers from a noticeable binding problem.[2]
