Mitsumi miniature mechanical
Manufacturer Mitsumi

PCB-mounted. Small, rectangular with a metal top and plastic bottom.

The metal top has a logo stamped on the side. Some variants have ミツミ ("Mitsumi") within a circle, others a stylized M.

The switch casing breaks easily if opened, or sometimes if a keycap is removed uncarefully.

The slider is reminiscent of Alps CM, but has often a square hole for Mitsumi's keycaps. The slider can also have a cross-shaped peg (Cherry MX mount) for Cherry MX-compatible keycaps.

Keyboards

  • Amiga 1000 keyboard (variant)
  • Chicony 5170 (variant)
  • NTC KB-6521 (variant)
